​​​The Middlefield Library is looking for an Assistant, at 3 hours per week, paid.  Requirements for the position include willingness to learn basic library techniques (ie checking books in and out, shelving, assisting patrons in finding books, etc.), being available to occasionally fill in for the librarian at the reception desk, and helping with library programs.  Basic computer skills required.  With this position, further training classes and seminars will be available and recommended.  Additional volunteer hours are strongly encouraged.  For further information, call 413-623-2079, or email:  middlefield.library@gmail.com
